Mummy prayed
I pray for her to get a good husband-to-be….
Right… that’s exactly what she prayed for me yesterday. haha! Yes, I know I’m on the age right now. I’m not exactly super sociable but definitely don’t lack of it. I’m confident in that. Just that I make more female friends than male ones. Opps!
Dramatic Friday Evening
Anyways, I have yet to blog on my dramatic FRIDAY! When I’ve decided to walk into a drain in a pretty unknown territory while looking for out for handsome guys the bus stop. I was SUPPOSE to meet my ex-colleague and his wife cos they’re getting married next year! And his wife is here only for a week plus to get a photoshoot with Steph. Check out his website partnered with his friend. Can’t believe I’m doing free promotion for him right now. haha! He promised me a free trip to Thailand if I refer 4 more people to him. C’mon!! Quote my name if you get interested from here.
After the half a second fall, the next thing I was aware was that I’m already on the ground. Looking up, I saw an Auntie. She saw me fell, stared at me for like a minute and continued walking away. OMGosh! I was actually thinking, I NEVER want to grow up to be like her. Ignorance, pretending that she never seen it or assuming that everything was okay for me. HELLO! I walking into a side drain that was knee-deep. No proper person will be okay after walking into it.
Then I met the 2nd Singaporean, a malay lady. She was prolly around my age and she was like asking “Are you okay?”. I was already embarrassed about walking into a drain (like how many people get to do that?) and said I was okay even though I knew that I’ve already sprained my left foot and bruised both my knees (without pullĀ my jeans up). She was quite shy about coming over and I don’t blame her because it’s a Singapore thing to not approach first and view sidelines. Like what the Auntie did (so typical Singaporean). I like the malay lady cos she broke the wall of that and asked me, not once but twice. So yeah… I hope there will be more people like her.
I needed help though… and why did I reject her?! (Slaps myself!) Maybe cos my brain was still in a stunned mode, trying to process what happened and what to do next. I knew I couldn’t meet my ex-colleague anymore, I call him up and I had the funniest call ever. It’s really human of the same language hearing different things. I said I sprain my feet in chinese and he kept hearing I’m reaching or something like that. It’s so weird!! Well, in the end he got what I’m trying to say and asked me to go home to rest.
I called my mom for emergency and painfully walked out to the main road to grab a cab home. Even the cab ride was hell… bumping kills my feet at that moment. It’s like somebody just stabbed at it a hundred times, raw and screaming for help. Smart me told me to ice it and I did, so my swell wasn’t as bad as it was suppose to be. Partly cos this isn’t my first time spraining it.
At first I thought it was like a hairline crack cos it hurt like mad but after the pain subside, it was just a really bad sprain. Not only that. I had 3 HUGE bruises tagged along with it. How rarely do you get buy 1 get 3 free?! So yeah… drama enough for you guys?!

Here’s the gift…
