This whole week almost whoosh past me instantly cos it’s the least time I’ve spent in the office this week! Monday and Tuesday I was out for training to learn illustrator and Wednesday was a off-site meeting at Sentosa with my company. Aside from the meetings, my boss rented a expensive boat with 3 decks. Super nice and I enjoyed it alot, though a few of my colleagues ended up with motion sickness. My poor manager suffered quite a bit… haha! But he enjoyed it nevertheless.

During the first day of illustrator class, I wanted to make some new friends as I’ve always anticipated. Maybe it’s just me, but I like to sit beside somebody and make that person my new friend of the day! Well, my class was really small and I thought that it was impossible. Not knowing, I actually sat beside somebody who left for toliet… hahahaha! So I was thought I was going to make this person my new friend. I tried talking to him but it ended up a little odd, so I thought he didn’t like me or he didn’t want to talk. So I left him as he was.

Lunch time came and I HATE eating alone cos it was boring, so I’ve decided to make friend with the guy who was sitting behind me. I knew his name and I went “You’re Jackson right?”. Of course he had to say yes lar. I continued to ask him if he was meeting anybody for lunch, he said no, so YES! I had a lunch mate for the first day.  Thank God for my thick skin, I dare to do a lot of things alone when I’m determined. Oh well…

So in the end, Jackson who sat behind me was somebody I first befriended. Somehow on the second day, the guy who was sitting beside me was much talkative on 2nd day. hahaha! Zaki is his name and he is working in SIM, how cool. I realised it’s hard to make friends with people who has their own friends already. My whole entire class had 6 people including me, 3 girls and 3 guys! Usually , I would make the girls my friend first but this time round, the 2 girls already knew each other. So I’m alone with 3 guys… hahahaha! Doesn’t matter now. It was fun to break out the usual routine somehow.

On wed, I started feeling a bit sick but it wasn’t so bad. Until Thursday when I started sneezing and coughing non-stop inside the office, I decided to keep myself at home on Friday and it was the right thing to do. I hope nobody in the office caught my bug, cos it’s not a very easy one to get rid of as well. Until today, my nose is still stuck and my throat is still itchy. I slept a lot, a lot that I knew I wasted so much of my day away. *sigh* Better heal up fast than to be more sick.

Above was a make shift wrapping I did in the office. haha! All I had was magazines and post-it. So this is what I came up with. I bought a hello kitty USB thumb drive for Ida with Greek man inside it. I should have double check cos I didn’t remove it properly and half the data inside was corrupted! Geez! No more Greek man for her. lol! But I love the idea of the wrapping that I came up with. Specially the ribbon part…
