Awesome stuff happened over the last week and this! I was over tired, stress, happy, angry, annoying and a whole lot of other things that had been going on in my life. One amazing thing was we finally had all our air tickets booked! Flight to Seoul (Checked!), flight to Jeju (Checked), lodging (Checked), plan out the days (soon… we’re working on it). At least we’re settled with the bulk of it aside the language barrier which we can barely do much about it.

Food Review: Saltwater Cafe and Creek (Changi Village Hotel)

Loves: ★★★☆

Last week, we celebrated the girls’ birthday (XY and Elaine). Janet and I ’sold’ them to Changi Village Hotel for a lunch buffet at Saltwater cafe and creek restaurant. I looked it up hungrygowhere as usual and I love how good the site can be. :) Good and bad stuff about having technology around. Effective, efficient, informative but it makes us lazy, silent talkers and so on. I’m doing the silent talking right now… You can’t hear it right?

Anyways, food was great though it’s quite a small variety I have to admit. Small section of Japanese sushi, quite a portion on Indian food, Chinese, rojak, a little on western and that’s about it. From the pricing wise, it’s reasonable but I found it pricey for us on that day as it was post-CNY and they charged us on a pretty high rate.  Thank God for Elaine’s Far East card, else we’ll be paying over 38++ per pax. I liked the mee rebus btw.

Later on, it was Suites with the girls! The concept of this was pretty different as they provided bedroom slippers and blankets to keep the cold out. They have from normal rooms to bedroom and even lounge rooms for a large group of people. Really nice. Oh. I thing I didn’t quite like about it was each pot of a one bag tea cost $18. It’s a ripped off seriously and it’s compulsory that everybody in the room to order something.

Followed by dinner at Iluma at this Japanese restaurant which I can’t think off my head on the name right now and too lazy to do a search on it. Hmm… I’m not too sure if I fancy the food there but I definitely loved the ordering system. It’s amazing. You guys should try it once if you haven’t been there. Just for the system… haha! What am I trying to promote here?!

Fast forward to this week. It was meet up with some more girls to Marina Barrage! I can’t believe I woke up earlier than my usual timing to work… haha! Everybody else was late and why… did I bother to make an extra effort?! After 10 years or so, I finally flew a kite in the sky again. How I missed those younger days… I didn’t expect myself to be sun burnt so badly but I was and what’s worse was, I’m only burnt one side!! Omgosh. It’s super ugly tan and I hate the watch tan line I’ve gotten right there. :bk_sad: The sun took a toll in my life span for that day. I didn’t know being sun burnt can make one so sleepy! I slept early that night cos I couldn’t stand it anymore.

Caught a movie with Elaine that day, Alice in the wonderland and I loved it. Awesome awesome awesome. So queer and odd, the way I liked it. I love johnny depp, the fat boys, the big head queen (I don’t remember the queen having a big head). There was a slight twist compared to the original story, I believe. I can’t remember what’s the original one anymore!

To add on to my current workload/school load/life load, I’ve taken up guitar classes again but this time it’s in church and I really hope my dad can fetch me to church every Tuesday. No, I don’t have my own guitar and the guitar bag I have has a really big hole at the bottom with no sling for back packing. :Panic:
