Ambiance was awesome, very comfortable and the air con wasn’t too cold. It was in a nice temperature. Met up with Jolyn and Pei Lee for dinner and it’s the first time I’ve been to this place or even Pasta Fresca itself. I’ve know this shop has been around for ages but I’ve simply never took a step in before until last week. I’ve missed out a lot!!

Tiramisu was AWESOME!! It’s so smooth and light, the alcohol wasn’t too overwhelming as well. It’s lovely. One of the best I’ve ever tasted so far… PLEASE try this if you’re at Pasta Fresca! I’m not so much into Crepes but this one is still pretty okay. Nothing amazing like Tiramisu but I have to say it’s very much on personal taste.

My main course! Lasagna! I love the ones my aunty used to make, it’s awesome. This one is still pretty okay, not the best best that I’ve tried around. In a good size, anymore I would have been sick of it. Mind you, Lasagna is very rich and high in calories! Yummy too.

My upper wisdom tooth

The day after my amazing dinner, I had to extract my wisdom tooth. I’ve spent at least 1k on 3 wisdom tooth and this one cost me $99!! At that 30 mins, I was $99 poorer. Sigh. I should be smarter and take up dentist as my course last time. Didn’t think of it until now. Too late for that now.

Granny’s Dumplings!

My cousins and I decided to pop over to our Granny’s place to make dumplings! It was something I’ve always wanted to try but never done it until recently. Trust me, my granny showed us how to wrap it. It looks so EASY but guess what? Never judge a book by it’s cover. I nearly died trying to get the right shape… and so I kept doing it the way I wanted. You can see my beautiful butterfly shape below. Haha! New design alright!

Oh, did I mentioned my Granny beat us out flat!! We had 4 people to clear 2 sets of rafia strings but she cleared 2 sets of refia strings on her own while we’re struggling to with 1 and a half!! How embarrassing is that. Not only that, we even made a mess on the floors and table. Granny rocks! Nobody can beat her to her home made dumplings, it’s the best! I’m biased, period.

She who is afraid of fishes…

My best friend here, is afraid of live fishes. lol!! She was so scared to just put her feet in to let the fish “chew” on it. It was super ticklish, though I shocked by how big the fishes were at first. Thanks to her, I get another 30 mins of fish spa. Got clean feet now. Thanks QiQi!
