Day 10 – Harajuku & Narita Airport

March 16th, 2009 winalise

After check out, we headed straight to the Harajuku to Meiji shrine as PH wanted to get her charms. While we were there waiting for her, we saw alot of couple getting married. Dressed in traditional Japanese costumes and doing the rituals. We managed to see the blessing of newborn babies as well. It’s definitely an eye opener for me and I enjoyed it.

Finally got the bag that I wanted even though it’s not in the colour that I wanted. After our last min shopping till 2pm, we left back to Ikebukuro and Narita Airport. Anyways… we had some problems checking in cos of the NO LIQUID on board. and we had sake in our hand carry which I totally forgot that I’m not suppose to bring it in. Geezz. Secondly the staff whom served me was really rude and I was totally annoyed with her.

During the second round check-in, the NWA staff was really nice after I told her what happened. My check-in luggage was 20kg which was the max limit and my hand carry was 6kg extra. With that stupid extra, I have to pay another 6kg which I didn’t really need to at first. But the staff let it go and I was able to check-in my hand carry without paying extra. :)

I never liked airplane rides cos seats are always uncomfortable. I dislike the airplane seats as their head rest is always higher then my head. Very straining on my neck, plus I was sitting inside… I nearly died as the man who was sitting beside me had a after cigreatte smell through out the whole journey. Not to mention the fact that I can’t keeping going in and out as well. During the docking of the airplane, the whole power went down and I really thank God that it didn’t fail during the flight itself. The flight back was a little unstable but I knew that I’ll be okay cos is protecting me as well as everybody in this plane. So I wasn’t so worried at all. I did give a thought that if I’m going to crash, I’ll pray for God to take me off first so it would be painless.

Well, I’m definitely happy to be back for now. Having my own bed, bigger toliet and my CHILLIES of course.
